Pro-tools, Mpc and midi

I got Pro-Tools Mbox usb connected to a Apple Laptop
im using a usb mt4 midi interface to connect midi to the laptop
it works fine with my synth in pro tools.. but the mpc dosent work

Im not sure if im using the right settings on the mpc
What settings should i use in midi/sync ?
any ideas what else could be wrong ?

You need to go to the MIDI board on the MPC and specify the MIDI settings, what channel your MIDI signal is coming through on ( 1 OR 2)
and I beleive you set the MIDI code not to MIDI time code but the other selection .(Im not in front of my MP right now but there are only 2 options)
That way you are synced with pro tools. Oh yea set the MIDI tempo too to match the MPC. Hope that helps.
