MIDI Import troubles with logic

Hello, I've been trying to figure out any method that will allow me to track out from my 2000XL. I can import the midi sequence into logic then it plays back on my MPC, but I can't figure out how to record any audio in logic. Any help is appreciated

what have you tried?
What soundcard/audio interface do you use??
