8 out expansion ore audio interface withoud computer

Hallo,

I have a mpc2000xl and i want to connect it to my behringer QX1832USB.
My goal is to hook up my mpc to my mixer and be able to EQ and put effects on the 8 sepperate tracks withoud the use of my computer.
Shut i buy the 8 outs expansion ore will the Tascam US-16x08 audio interface do the trick ?.
I heard the Tascam US-16x08 can be used as a stand alone device so i prefer the audio interface instead of the 8 outs expansion.

8outs < external mixer.

8outs is GREAT for multitracking out to that same mixer.
Effects on mixer can be used with other gear. 8outs effects are applied internally in mpc only.

Check pg 138 Chapter 9 Effects in 2kxlk manual, 4 effects busses.

Check out the +'s and -'s involved and make a choice.

I am VERY glad I bought the 8out and effects card right off the bat. It used both A LOT back in the day.
These days I use my audio interface for effects and 8outs only for multi tracking on both 2kxl and/or 4k.
