MPC 2XL sync question

I've spent my whole Monday trying to sync my MPC 2XL to Cubase SL3....lliterally. I REALLY need somebody to help me out. What connections i should make, and what, specifically, i need to do on the cubase side and mpc side to get this working. Mainly the cubase side. Thanks

i can tell you the basic steps! but if you do a search on this site you will be abled to find th CUBASE MPC SETUP real easy!

anyway...

Set your MPC to slave by telling it to recieve the signal by either MIDI IN 1 or 2. then make sure the cables or in that that number you choose. then make sure that the Cubase channel for Midi Sync is set up as well (not quiet sure but there should be setting that explains how to sett up as master)

you will have to do some offsetting as well,

I have searched the site. When I said I had searched all day, I wasn't playing around. From 12 to 6pm i have been trying to get this sync to work. I have tried the stuff in the manual. I have looked on this site, the cubase site, and futureproducers.com. can't find any help. So, if I sound impatient with the read the manual answers, or the search the site answers, its because i have done those things already.
