How do you assign sounds to outputs???

How do you assign different sounds to outputs?? I just got the 8outs and I don't know how to do it.

I go to the mixer menu and click fx and it says "no effects board"??? So, am I doing it wrong, am I supposed to go somewhere else to assign sounds???


Please give me details of how to assign sounds to different outputs.

u dont go to effects u go to indiv. there u hit the pad it will highlight the channel and pick which channel u want to send the pad thru, if the sound is stereo it will take up two channel, i always convert to mono.

how do you convert to mono??

go to the trim screen, open window, convert from sterreo to mono and boom, delete the ones u dont want then start a new progm and pick the sounds u want to use this way when u save u can save everything together and not as like 4 different progms, i lost a lot of songs this way when i was starting out by not naming my stuff right and not knowing which kit goes where. but this is basic stuff so u should read the manual at least once.
