Can you sync up 2 keyboards at once?

Hi everyone, just wanted to know if you can have 2 synths playing from the mpc at once. I know there are 2 midi ins and outs, but i havent been able to get more than one synth programmed at the same time

You talking about playing them live or having it play them back sequenced. As for live, I think you're running a 2000 (non XL), and I think the midi through is different on that, so not sure. There was some info on mpc2000xl.com about how this is different between the two, but not sure if it answers the question:

But otherwise, you just set the midi channel the track is playing back at and be sure the midi channel matches on the synth. Usually all synths default to channel 1, so you usually have to change one of them, or have the second synth be on the second midi output.
