Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
Bymr_clean Sat Aug 16, 2003 12:43 pm
I have a question about the note numbers, in the mpc2kxl manual it says the preset note numbers is: bank A 35-50, bank B 51-66 etc.

but on my mpc the note numbers are **** up, it looks like they are random, like pad A1 is 37 pad A2 is 42 etc, could I change this in someway so the note numbers becomes like it says in the manual??
I know that i could change the numbers in the assign screen but when i turn my mpc off it becomes **** up again.

How do I change this so i get bank A 35-50 etc and so it stays that way when i turn it off...???!

I really hate to say it and be the bad person, but this is covered

1) in the manual
2) On my website (easily found by any search engine)
3) Probably on this website's FAQ's
4) Has already been answered several times in this forum and it can be searched above.

Please don't let this turn you off to this forum since it is pretty good place, but I/we just get tired of typing, especially since the answer to yours is a long one.

It is common ettiquette to use the search engine of a forum prior to posting any questions. You are certainly not the first to ask this.

No, be the bad guy every once in awhile so these kids don't have things so easy.
