My 2000XL can't load the samples from GoTek emulator....help

I am Korean. Please understand if my English is not good.

I recently got a MPC 2000XL and installed GoTEK emulator.
So, I used a program called "HxC" to make HFE files for insert wav samples (16bit, 44.1khz, mono).
The problem is my mpc can't find any HFE files that I putted.
Also, the screen on mpc says "type: ????" when I formatted my usb to FAT 32, 4060byte.

Remove the Gotek emulator and put the correct thing in place of it - SCSI2SD, BlueSCSI, etc.

It's a bad idea to use a Gotek on the XL.

Try formatting the HFE file on the 2000xl first, then dumping your files to the akai formatted virtual floppy disk.

My 2000xls cannot read windows formatted disks, no matter what I tried, I have limited experience with gotek.

But with my machine, formatting on akai first, is the only way I got it to work.

Agree with richie, best thing you can do is look to my thread, download the IMG file to update the OS to v1.20 and install a CF card reader, which is much easier to work with. Or better yet, buy a scsi2sd.
