Hi did you ever find the photos to work out how to connect this? I have an output board with a ribbon on it that has the red line a different way to any other picture I have seen and it's not removable. I can buy an extension but still need to work out which way to plug it into the MPC2000XL motherboard, maybe ingnoring the red line.

Hi again, alfter long battle I've come across a guy that has a MPC repair shop and solved the issue.

Diagnosis: No communication between motherboard and 8-output card

Replaced/fixedparts:
resistor ladder and regeneration of SDATA-SCLK line on Mobo
