Sample from iphone

I know the newer models can record samples directly from iphone to MPC(by using proper cable).
I was wondering if the MPC2000XL can do the same?

Can't see why not, it's not the MPC that matters, it's the phone and the cable. I use one of these as it works with all my devices (lightning, USB c and 1/8" headphone jack).

I then plug the 1/4" jacks into my MPC (any MPC model)

There are cheaper cables if you just want a single connector, just depends on what your phone.

and I have another question. Can you recommend an audio interface or a mixer for mpc2000xl? I am also thinking to do the same job as the iphone mentioned above. (record sample from PC to mpc)
