Don't get me wrong, the hardware workflow has its charm, but sometimes I just want to jam on a beat with a specific sample pack, and loading samples one by one is so tedious that by the time I'm done, I've lost the vibe.T hat's why I built a macOS app to streamline this for us old-school users (targeting the 2000, 2000XL, and 3000—not the newer models or folks who only sample directly on the hardware). It handles a bunch of key tasks:

[]Automatically converts to 16-bit and optionally to mono (big file size savings)
    []Trim samples on the fly
[]Assign samples to your preferred pads
    []Adjust pitch and volume
[]Save as SND for even more file size optimization
    []Export full programs
Plus, you can import existing programs too.A few buddies in the scene tried it out and said it was a game-changer, so they pushed me to release it on the Mac App Store. Now it's live!If you're interested, check out the site: https://ezmpc.appWould love to hear if anyone's got similar workflows or tools they swear by for prepping samples externally. Feedback welcome!

Thank you for sharing this, and making it available to us modern Mac users! I've just downloaded it and had a little play with it & it is super useful for us 2000xl users

Are you going to open source the code? Would love to contribute to the project
