usefull tools question

first, i'm new here, looks like a good place... i'm 30 years, swiss, making electro.. and my english is not very good, so excuse...

ok, my question...
i'm looking for a tool, wich reads my midifiles created with the mpc and compares that midifiles to the program-files used by the mpc.

at the end it should modified the program-files and delete the unused samples from the program-file.. understand ?

it's because i have a lot of old program-files with a lot of samples that i use now again and i dont want to waste my memory from the mpc with samples i never use in a song.

is there a way to read program files like a textfile at the computer? if i open it with a editor it's just hyroglyphics...(argh)

There is nothing in a midi file that indicates what program or samples were used with it.

Try MPC Editor to manually edit the programs (www.midicase.com).
