mpc 2000 lcd screen

does anybody know where i can get a lcd screen for the mpc2000?Mines almost through dealing. Is it possible for me to take the mp apart and try cleaning it?

What up fellow beat makers Mr.Chris here representing The "Beat Squad" I to have been victim of the infamous Akai Lcd screen.. You know "dont put in your own memory" pay some tech catt upwards of 150.00... Well of course being a D.J//// I decided to do that myself and as you all well know the operation was a sucess but the screen was a disaster!!! couple quotes later I stumbled upon"rouge music" in NewYork(I already been there I just remembered) on I believe 39th between 9th and 10 ave. 10th floor.. its very easy to find.. they fix the screens for (now hold on remember how much you need it )!! 200.00 plus tax..It takes about half an hour and they do great work.. Also if you need any manuals(that you cant find on-line) or cheap vintage equipment check them out... Or just hit up thier website...WWW.Rouge music.com

1. Send just the display and the repair is $49.00 plus S&H (small display)

They do good work...put in my ram and 8 outs a few years ago.
