Daisy chain a cd rom and jaz drive?

Hello guys.

I just bought a 2GB jaz drive and want to daisy chain it with my cd rom to the mpc 2000 XL. I hooked the CD Rom scsi into the jaz and the jaz scsi into the MPC. I have the rom on scsi channel 4 and the jaz drive on scsi channel 5. I can't seem to get the jaz drive channel 5 to show up on the MPC though. Any advice.

try turning everything off.
First turn on ur jaz and cd drive
next turn on the mpc
now you should be cool

Also make sure you have some form of termination (either a switch, a plug or soft termination) turned on on the last element of the chain i.e. the cdrom drive, the jaz drive shoul have no termination.)
