I have two Mpc 2000 though i bought messed up for a total price less then 600.00 , anyway i sent one unit to VST and the service took me 2 months @ 150.00, then i sent the other mpc to EPR Electronics, they took 6 months, i just recntly got it back, i advise you not send the unit to EPR, Akai only list VST as a Authorized Service Agent and EPR has to get all parts from VST thats why it took 6 months and i was charged 405.00 when i could've sent it to VST, since i lived in florida i thought it would be nice to get service at the home state, i was wrong.
im gonna leave it with them and hopefully some time soon after recieve a phonecall with some news
