please help transferring pack

and when i put the zip in the computer i can see all the files on the zip

Basically the MPC will display any files on a zip disk, even ones it can't open, so that suggests to me that you have some kind of formatting issue.

if i format my zip in the 2000xl and then put the zip in the computer it will not do anything with the disk until i format it ....so i do that and then load the sounds on the zip...remove the zip put it inthe mpc and it shows nothing .....i hit load and open window and see nothing....and on the far right of the screen where it says size...there is nothing ....if i do have a formatting issue, what do you suggest i try....and thanks for all the advice everyone has been giving me....so do you think there is a prob with the computer or the mpc....or me...lol

I fromatted the zip in my computer and loaded it up with all kinds of folders...and when i put it in the mpc ...it showed nothing...so if i am having a formatting problem how can i get around it.....how else can i get the sounds to the mpc.....

so you put an mpc formatted zip into your pc? Then formatted it? you do know that formatting ERASES THE ENTIRE DISK right?


You should have just put the zip directly in the mpc when you got it.

yes i realized that it erases it but i have the sounds saved on my computer and on another disk
