I know this is a very popular question to ask, but i looked through past topics and coulnd't find a good answer. I recently learned that you shouldn't leave your zip drive in when starting you MPC up in order to save space and samplin time...When i do turn the MPc on with the zip disk in it it sas that i have 18mb of space installed, which should be wrong becuase installed 32, but even with the 18 both of my programs load. When i turn the mpc on without the zip disk in, it says i only have 2mb installed which isn't enough to load 1 whole program...wtf? is this internal or is there something else?

dont load everything you only load the sounds your useing or the song you working on, you need to learn to make seprate folders in your zip so you don't load everything up or your goinig to use up space and memory fast.

load only your sounds you want to use everthing else is not nec.

does that make sense
hope this helps
