yep you sure can. I salvaged mine from an old cpu I had sitting around. Just make sure you seat them bad boys properly or they'll give you all kinds of grief mane.

MPC and MPCXL is 72 pin, 60-70NS SDRAM. Same type RAM you use with the older Pentium 2 motherboards. It is in fact doable, so go do it and make mad music...Hope that helps.

I checked on Ebay for memory and there are auctions for "32MB MEMORY UPGRADE" costing around $10. Do y'all think this is a good way to purchase memory or would it be wise to purchase from some place like Pro Sound Stage and Lighting. PSSL sells 16Megs for $40 so if I wanted to upgrade to 32MB, I'd have to fork out $80.

What would y'all suggest?

Get the cheapest you can get of course. But on ebay you might be getting a wack product, it depends who's selling it..

Cool...thanks for the reply.

I think I'm gonna go with the cheap ones on Ebay. The seller has a rating of about 500 positives so it's worth a try.

Take it ez.
