Keyboard and same problem..

I know it's a newbie question but i've searched and i cannot find what i'm searchin' exactly. I got this problem. I've a midi keyboard (roland pc 200) and an MPC 2KXL.
I wanna play the bass in all the keyboard but, when i use the auto crom. assign i lost all the sounds i've had on the pads.. i've tried to create a new program but when i change the program number in the track where i record all the sound in the other tracks change whit the bass sound i've in the new program..

what i can do guys?

Im not sure if I understand the question, but I use a Triton Le and a MpC2000 classic not xl. What I do is rename my tracks the name and program number of the midi sound. For instance Track 1 becomes A020 (drums). Now when I go back to load the seq. I reprogram the Triton sounds. Well not anymore now I create a new program in the Triton but that in the Triton not the "MPC" so now matter what I have to set up 2 programs. My MPC sounds and my TRITON sounds. Hop0e this helps

Hi, I've the classic too and there isn't the autocromatic function so if I sample a bass sound I put manually it on each pad but in the C and D pad bank only so in the A & B I've still my other sample and sound...
I don't know if the xl autocromatic function can work only for all the 4 bank or if it's selectable the number of pad involved. But if you play a simple bass loop maybe you don't need 64 notes so with my method I keep only the pad/note that i use for my melody...

Ciao, anchio ho il 2000 non xl e non ha l'autocromatic quindi se campiono un suono di basso lo imposto manualmente in ogni pad ma solo nelle bank C e D quindi nelle bank A e B ho ancora gli altri suoni...
Non so se l'autocromatic dell'xl funziona solo per tutti i 4 bank o se puoi decidere il numero dei pad da usare. Comunque se fai tipo un giro di basso semplice forse non userai tutte le 64 note quindi col mio metodo posso tenere solo i pad che mi servono x la melodia...
