Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Is there a way to do 16 Levels so I can play bass lines on my Triton through the MPC? The notes are not scaled correctly and when I press 16 Levels, it doesn't organize the notes like how they are when something is sampled. How do I make the pads on the MP play midi notes in order? Thanks in advance!

use a midi channel. dial back anticlokwise on drum1 and change it to midi 1a or whatever output your triton is on. go into auto chrom and make a new program but dont select a sound to auto chrom just do none. it will chromactly assign the notes in a program but trigger no external sound on the mpc but send midi to the triton. umm youll work it out.. 16 levels is only for internal sound adjustments not midi.

you cant. its just doing the same thing as if it were off. like i said make the new program auto chromed without a sound and you will have a chromaticly assigned program you can call up drum2 to and send to midi 1a or whatever,
