changing programs in song mode

So I've searched a little and have come up empty handed. Hope a kind soul can help.
Been using the mpc2000 (not xl) for a while, and I was wondering if there was a way to change programs in song mode. Like, sequence 1 uses program 1 and then then sequence 2 uses program 2 in the same song. I know you cant do it with tracks. I think there's a step edit function that does it, but I'm mid song and dont want to **** myself. I don't think there's a way you can do it, but if there is and you tell me, I won't mind a sonning.

In seq 1 you're using program 1.In sequence 2 you're using program 2.So when you go to song mode to chain the seq. it will play how you recorded them.
