changing a internal zip to a external zip?

hi i have an mpc-2k and i have a zip drive seating around and i wanted to know if there is any way i can use it. it came off a computer so i wanted to know if is there any way i can use it. thanks

Is it an ide or a scsi drive ? If it's an ide then you won't be able to use it as an external drive.
