Is there anyway to make the samples asigned to the drumpads cut them selves as you play them on the drumpads?

Thanks,

I m not sure exactly what ur asking but to do what i think you want (got a loop and you want it to cut when you trigger it again right?) set the note from POLY to MONO on the parametaers screen (shift + program) so now when you hit a kick drum, instead of it playing the sample each time you hit it, it dont allow "polyphony" with the sample, thus re triggering it will stop the old one and start the new one right away.

you can also make samples cut each other off. in that same screen foo was talking about, hit open window on the mono, poly or note off and it will let you assign two pads that this sample will cut off. get em all working to cut each other off and your money.

Oh, Guys, I think he might mean that he wants to hold the pad down so play the sound until he releases it, only then would it stop.

I'm such a newbie, you would not believe, but I think that's what he's after. Thanks for the tips though, they're hella useful.

UK hip-hop - I love the beats, shame about the MCs, heh.
We have the best djs though - Scratch perverts forever!

What I ment was; If I for example have a horn hit and tap it twice, the first horn will overlap the second... What I want is too make the first horn stop as I tap the drumpad for the second time... But I think Dr. Foo and mesh answered my question. Thanks!
