Ok I've been having the HARDEST time finding a working soulution for my Zip drive problem so...I asked AKAI for a list of compatible Hard Drives that's work....They sent me a listYahoo BriefcaseI was told that you couldn't save to a CD-rom BUT on their list is aPlextorthat not only loads but saves(per Akai list remember that).Plextor told me that they have internal and external drives versions which are both IDE and SCSI, but they don't make them anymore. I lookd on ebay but the only SCSI one I saw was being auctioned off at $260 but it ended while I was searching the list. Now the only ones left are the IDE and ATA versions. I might get it and then add a external SCSi conversion kit to it (Has anybody had experience with those kits yet...)Am I reaching foir the stars or did akai make my dreams come true, even though they didn't have a HD list this was the only list that he emailed me. So does anyone have a list or know of any HD's that'll work( I searched the board and found no names just advice). The MPC tutor helped me get a Apple CD-rom that works fine but I have no way of saving what I've made, except small files onto floppy(man I have songs with 10 floppies used). Aight well someone help me figure THIS ONE out please.
