does mpc 2000 or 2000xl offer 16 and 8 bit sampling?

Yo i am an mpc 1000 owner user i am getting ready to get a 2000, and i was wondering if either or both 2000 and 2000xl have the ability to sample or convert samples to the 8 bit or any other bit rate formats i am curious because of something. i saw on a website and was wondering if its true

There is a thead asking the exact same question towards the bottom of the first page of this forum. Find it. And next time, search the forum before asking simple question. ...Or not even that - you could've easily got the answer by going to any website and simply looking at the mpc2000(xl) specs.
