Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

This Problem only happens in song mode for me on the mpc, and i dont understand why. probably cause im a new user most likely. I did consult my manual numerous times, maybe im having a hard time understanding it. but anyways, When i go to song mode, and set my reps on my sequence, it plays thru the reps, but once it loops after its done playing, it switches all my sounds. i dont get it. My drums will be gone, and ill have to go into program, and assign each program to each drum set (Drum 1, 2, etc.) and also, i have my Sound Module hooked up, and for some reason it switches the sounds on that too, after it goes thru the whole sequence and loops back around. I personally think it must be some kinda midi channel issue, but what would i know?

I'm really lost with this, so if i could get some help, without the smart ass comments and insults of telling me to search or read the manual like i already did, that would be great. thx

You probably have a program change in one of your sequences that you did by accident...

dude sounds like there a lost pgm change inserted somewhere, on one of your drum tracks. all its doing is re-allocating your drum pgm to another DRUM.

basically on the program window- hit open window to access the bit that lets you change the name etc- in there you can specify the program change channel- make sure these are different for each of your programs....

get rid of your existing prog changes? well provided you haven't used any other control changes im pretty sure you delete everything except notes from a track- therefore do this to all your tracks to get rid of any rougue porg changes that have slipped in...
