Effects Board

I'm thinking about copping an eb16 effects board for my mp. Is this a good buy? What would some of you seasoned mp users recommend. I've heard a few people say that the eb16 isn't that good a board and for the money I could buy an external effects processor and be better off. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't buy a new, but I would get a used one....they are not as bad as people claim, some people just don't spend enough time with them...same as the resample function, you will have people on here say it is worthless and does nothing, yet, I use it all the time....

id be lost without my eb16 because i pretty much use only the mpc2k. those effects come in handy
