For installing an internal zip.

I see internal zip 250's on ebay for good prices. I'm gonna get one, but should i get ATAPI or IDE? any difference? has anyone actually installed a zip themselves? how tricky is it? It seems simple enough. let me kno, i'll probably need some help on this one. thanks in advance, peace.

I installed my zip, Its pretty easy. Installation instructions should come with the zip drive and you shouldnt have a problem puttin that thang in there.

i think atapi is ide as well. but there are instructions on this site on how to do it yourself. it should go well, but look out for 250s cuz i heard they cause more problems than the 100s. i had to try 3 different 100s before one worked. but ow it is working and it is very dope. highly recomended to get an internal.

them there zip drives are a good investment especially if you plan on moving data back and forth and whatnot....Though I am leaning towards a CF reader.......them there things are looking really attractive right now....

No...its a usb connection which the MPC does not have......

Installed a 250MB Atapi zip in my MPC. Worked first time, no problems.

i just installed my nec 100 mb with no problems but when i cut it on it
says not ready?????
it lists as atapi but when i try to make any moves with it it says not ready!!!
what do i do????
