I'm trying to record chords in loop mode with my controller and sound module. When I hold down the keys for the chords they play and the data is imputed on to the Akai but when it plays back it sounds different then how I programed it. The chords don't sustain for the duration of the loop. Instead they repeat at the exact loop point where I inserted the data. Is there a way to get the chords to play seamlessly all the way through without the repetition? Thanks for your time and help. :D

It could be a midi issue. The mpc has this thing where it "echoes" the midi in through the midi out...it's called soft input, or something like that. (This may not be exactly right, but bear with me.) One thing to try, is on the module you are using, figure out how to turn the local setting to "off". I was having this problem when sequencing my nord into the mpc and I turned local off and then it worked fine.

It's been my experience to from time to time temporairly turn the timing off to input your keys and turn it back on after you've forced your keys in there. When turning the timing off this method allows you to program exactly what you want .

Blaz that actually sounds like a really good idea. :) My KS5000 doesn't have a Local function since it's a rack so I think that will work perfectly. :)
