If I get an MPC what else will I need to make sick beats?

wowsers u need besides a mpc a heart and soul and a creative mind , along with any herbal supplements or beverages to your liking

If you wanna make FAT beats you need a COMPRESSOR....!!!!!

I cannot belive no one said this...the more channels you get the better!!!!

Get a second hand stereo compressor (if your on a budget) and run your MPC through it and you will be AMAZED how fat and dirty your beats sound!!!! If you get a tube style one (if your cashed up) it will sound SICK...all warm and nice !!!

Get a good sample source and a good quality neadle(ask dj shadow) and mixer(eq wise) if your using records to sample from!
