My scsi zip drive just blew out. Wont work on my computer or mpc. I need to buy an internal zip drive. are there any models that specifically are needed to be compatible with the mpc or will any internal zip work? I am planning on buying off of ebay and if anybody knows of a seller that they know will not sell me some junk I would like to know. If there is a link that would show me how to uninstall the disk drive and replace it with a zip, that would be appreciated. But I am sure I could find it through the search. Any help would be appreciated. THanks

All I know is that you should NOT **** with sampler_sounds on ebay. I ordered memory and a zip from this dude on June 10th. I paid for the items immediately. I didn't get the zip until June 24th. Dude didn't send it out until June 21st or something. I still haven't received the memory. He talkin bout he "forgot". I am about to start a movement against this cat!!!!

Yeah. There is tons of information on this forum on replacing drives. They got pictures and everything.
If you are going to do all that I would suggest getting an internal flash card reader instead.

My advice would be to get a card reader as well .
I have an atapi zip drive out of my old computer just sitting in a box here if you want it, though .

same here, go for a cf card reader if you need to replace that zipdrive anyway. Bigger storage capacity (I use 1Gb cards iwthout the need to partition them), no moving parts, no noise.
