Question about sequencing

Lets say I want to play a 8 bar loop throughout the song and then have another 8 bars after playing the first 8 introducing some hats and a snare or somethin (with the original loop playing also). What is the best way to do this? Ive read the manual and tried a few things but cant figure out

if u got the xl.. just use the track mute...put all the hats, kiks, snares etc in the same sequence... u got mad tracks to use per sequence.. use trak mute to bring the hats, snares, whatever....

yeh what he said, just make a copuple of duplicate of that sequence. and drop out and or introduce the parts your want, as the song progresses.

If you go this route you can just chain those sequences together in song mode, but you would know about song mode if you read the manual though right?

And please don't double post.
