JOG WHEEL EMERGENCY!!

Hi all! I need urgent assistance, I was just now loading up some samples with the jog wheel and all of a sudden I notice the jog wheel got smooth feeling but I realized none of the data was being rotated. the jog wheel is not doing anything just spins, anyone know how to fix it and has it ever happend before?

please let me know!

take the knob off if you can, sometimes the nut comes loose.
