How do the big time produces put those scratches samples in there song by using only the keyboard or mpc, for example Rodney Jerkings uses it alot, and it sound like that same scratch samples from the triton . When I try using it, it seems to be either to fast or too sloow for the song, but Rodney Jerkins ride the beat like a live DJ. according to sources its not a live deejay its all samples of scratches

Explain!!!!!!!!!!!

sample your scratch and then go to the param and change the pitch to match your beats.

What I do is, sample a scratch or something that sounds somewhat like a scratch, then go to "STEP EDIT" and tweek the "Tun" either up or down to increase or decrease the sound of the scratch. Then during the track I sequence it to where I want it to come in, then I just tweek the value a bit to make it more sychronized. Dunno, if this helps but this is what I do whenever a DJ isnt present...peace
