Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

i'm getting my mpc2kxl on monday........but i dont have an internal or external zip for my pc,so does that mean i wont be able to load any sounds to my mpc?? if not........ :cry: i'ma have to wait a few weeks to scrape up some more cash,dammit!!

well, its gonna have a floopy and you've got a floppy on your pc soooo......

even if the mpc has an internal zip? wouldnt i need to have a zip for my computer also?

hehehehee.....ooopppss...my bad, i'm slippin, mane......I'd go an get a zip for your pc asap....I thought you meant that you didnt have one for either the pc and the Mpc......my bad, yow mean....

yea on the same note...does anyone know any sites on which you can get free sounds for floppies, ive looked around after gettin my intial ones from here, and it seems all sites cater to the zip drive. it would help cuz i could use some more drums

Just download reegardless if they say they are for ZIP or not.
If they don't fit on a floppy then you are outta luck with that.

If they fit then try it.

Download to your CPU. Listen to them, pick out the best sounds and put them on floppy.
