~mpc 2000xl mcd frozen on load screen~

PLEASE HELP!!!!

ok i was working on a sequence and i was just about done...so i go to load the final sample into the machine and the damn thing froze on the load screen...i ca still get sound out of the bank i was on before it froze but i cant switch banks or do anything else...i have not shut it down because i am hoping there is a solution out there that can help me to save this sequence. if anyone can help it would be highly appreciated.

what are you using to store your sounds on? zip drive? HD? so all your other sounds loaded ok, huh?

my sounds are currently loaded into the machines rom but when i shut it down i will lose the sequence unless there is a way to save it...
i have the sounds on flash cards but the issue is mainly the sequences... i dont want to lose them.

Sorry, friend, those sequences are lost. Just like any computer, sometime the MPC crashes, and anything between your last save and the crash is gone. I know it sucks, but you gotta move on. Usually I load al my sounds before I make sequences in case anything crashes, then I haven't lost anyhting. I know this doesn't help you now, but it might in the future.
