Here's the deal. You can only have 4 programs used AT ONE TIME in the xl. So if you use auto-chromatic assign, you use a whole program for that one instrument.

It would make more sense to lnk everyting via MIDI. Run one of the MIDI outs on the MPC into the MIDI in on your soundcard. Run the corresponding MIDI in (a with 1, b with 2) from your MPC to the MIDI out on the soundcard. Link the Casio the same way with the other set of MIDIs on your MPC. Run the L/R audio outs from your soundcard into a 2 channel mixer. Do the same with your MPC. Output the mixer to some speakers.

Now when you select a program for each track [on your MPC main screen] (drum 1-4 or MIDI a/b 1-16) the Casio AND/OR the MPC should be able to control whatever sounds are in that program. You can use your keyboard to play FL, or your MPC or whatever. Hope this helps.

this is how my set up is on reason, should work the same way on FL.

midi out MPC - midi in on computer
midi in A mpc - midi out computer
midi out of keyboard - midi in B MPC

you should be able to use your keyboard and MPC at the same time in FL.
