Has anyone ever used this cd w/their mpc or something else?

Hey First off I want to say thanks to everyone who made me feel welcome. I love this site. Future Producers is great but when it comes to MPC knowledge you all knock them out. But anyways I have a link to a cd being sold on Ebay and I was wondering has anybody ever tried the cd or a similar one with their mpc or something that reads .wav files. My question is is the sounds one shots sounds or what? Also if u have bought them before are they worth buying or no? Oh yeah the reason why I am asking is b/c the saler could tell me anything just to make me wanna buy but most of u on here know all about it so I trust you more than the seller.

You might have noticed that in the compatible sampler section not a single MPC is listed. Also in the software section, I dont see Pro tools, Fruity, Acid, etc. I would think you can buy a better, more dependable (this dude doesn't even tell you the amount of megs on it) sampl disk. There are some great sample packs you can buy from this site. Just click the 5th little orange box in the the top left corner (sounds).

..man, not to sidebust anybody's hustle but I'd only use whatever you can cop for free on the internet if it came down to that. The best drum sounds are found on preferably vinyl records, CD's, and sometimes in synth modules. Be creative man, think of anywhere you can get drum sounds, movies via DVD, TV.

I think it should be any cats first option, especially on the production side of things to find what you can for yourself. Then, after you are absolutely sick of all of your sounds or whatever, then consider buying sounds assembled in premade packs. Take this as a friendly suggestion, not trying to weigh in on ya like some overbearing purist with an axe to grind. And in all honesty, resourcefulness has served me very well over the years. I never succumbed to the pressure of copping a 'Loopzilla' CD ...

True that. For the most part, the only thing I use sample packs for is multisamples (and even then, it's not that I can't make 'em myself, I just don't have the time (or possibly, I'm just lazy)

misscc, welcome to the boards girl. as you know, if you read under my post, my boy sells something like this, just better(and can be used for the MPC). let me know if you are interested. He sells the Triton, which is the same synth engine as the Karma. also, the guy is saying there is liek 350 sound samples, the triton DVD has way more. ask anyone who has bought from him. it's good and real, and you CAN use it in the MPC. if you need anything while startingup with the MPC, let me know, always willing to help out fellow female producers.
