Dangermouse did the entire Gray Album using Acid. It was excellent. I know he uses hardware (and software)synths and sound modules, but he samples them into Acid, arranges and sequences them in Acid, mixes them in Acid.....
If I remember correctly, thats all he uses now, and that new gorillaz album he just put out sounds pretty damn fresh to me.
