Will S1000 and S3000 sample disks work...

I'm planning on buying some sample Discs but they are S1000 and S3000 sample CD-ROms from akai. Will those work with the 2000xl if i'm using my SCSI drive to load them? I have had this Xl for two years and i haven't really used a lot of purchased sample Disks

But I will say NO, due to the fact those samplers use AKP file format.

The XL will read S1000/3000 format disks, so the samples will read, but the program files will not transfer as they are a different format.
