mpc2k - 2kxl compatibility

im using an empee 2kxl at home, but my friend has the regular 2k. If he gets a more recent os, can he:
view folders on my zips?
open my .aps and .all files?

this is really a problem, since .all files seem to be the only way of exporting songs, otherwise i'd have to save the separate sequences and write the order down... :roll:

The MPC2k can't read all-files, aps-files, folders and partions from the mpc2kxl. It can only read .mid and .pmg.

As far as I know and tested.

No way to save a separate song as well?
Or could the mpc2k browse folders with a OS update? This is the most important in fact, as i save anything into folders...

There is no way to get a folder browser for the mpc2k.

The last OS was ver 1.72.
