Would I Be Able To Attach An External Cd Burner To My Mixer?

Ok i assume that all external cd burner's are either usb or scsi. I want to attach the out's of the mpc to the in's of my mixer. And do a ghetto mix down with the 'high', 'mid', and 'lo' options on the mixer . But the mixer only has 1/4 outs, or you can use those 2 '3 pin' things, what is that? Would i be able to hook that up to a burner and burn directly like that

Those 2 '3pin things' as you call em are either analog outputs or inputs for microfones so definately not suitable to connect a cd-writer to. Unless you have some really fancy digital mixer with built in os to control a cd writer there is no way that you can connect a cd-writer to a analog mixer. The way to go is to connect the outputs of you mixer to a computer and to record the mix on a computer and then burn the resulting soundfile on a cd via a cd-writer. Hope this helps.

BTW, wanted an answer, got it, and now im happy. I would have waited years in any other forum.

A better route would be to use A digital/coaxil cable provided that your mixer has a digital in and out. This way only one cable is necessary. Then again you could always get a 1/4 to RCA cable.
