Making MPC Master and the Protools the slave

I want my mpc 2000xl to be the master of my protools and reason how do i set this up? please your adive will be well appreciated this has been pissing me off for quite some time now...

Before anyone jumps onthis cat to use the search button, I tried 4 or 5 different searces and could only come up with how to make the MPC the slave. I don't use Protools so I don't for sure know how to do it, but I'd bet you set your MPC to transmit MMC and MTC (set to whatever framerate Protools is) and then go into the Protools options and turn on MMC or MTC Slave enable.

you can do it, but it will probably be better to go to Digidesign's website or message board and do it, i do it every now and then, but i cant explain it cause im not in town wit my setup.....i think i still got that link though to where they were kinda talking about it on Digidesigns website

by the way, after you follow that, make sure you allow some sync time between Pro Tools and the MPC, meaning let your first two measures be silent before you start the recording into pro tools... so dont start tracking until measure 3 on ya MPC and Pro Tools
