OK fellas I need some help

Ok so i have recently bought the 2000xl MCD and i have a compact flash that is loaded with sounds. First question when i load the sounds they are splint into categories such as, DREKIT, PREMO, 808, and within each of these there are like 15-26 sounds. I was wondering if there is a way that i could load them maybe by category instead of assigning them one by one to each pad. And another thing is even when i go to the save page and save all sounds, when i shut the MPC off and reboot the sounds are gone? any help would be appreciated.

Well, you can load up each sound individually and then go to save and "Save All Programs & Sounds" (ALL_PGMS) and then when you load em up they will go to the pads that you put them on. As far as categorizing each of your sets (PREMO, 808), when you save the "ALL_PGMS" just rename em' to your category. Get it?

If I understand that right, then thats perfectly normal. If you take the CF card out, the mpc won't be able to load it up. Thus the 'device not ready' error message when you open the load page.
