MIDI IN of your PC to the MIDI OUT of your MPC
MIDI IN of your MPC to the MIDI OUT of your PC
Go into Cubase and set the syncronisation settings to send Midi Clock (is a good start) or TimeCode (slightly more acurate) or MMC (The Start and Stop will control the start and stop on your MPC)
Then set the syncronisation on your MPC to recieve its sync from the MIDI IN you have connected. (Its dead easy and is in the manual and easy to follow) Do the reverse of this and make Cubase the Slave if the MPC is your master..
Hook all the RCA Outputs into the Inputs on your 1010 and your away...arm your tracks in cubase and hit play record...
You may have to fiddle for a while to get it all working the way you wan't....and don't be afraid of reading the manual, over, and over, and over.... Once you have it mastered you will find it soooo easy!!!!
