Yeah, no doubt, just me and you. I've done many vocal samples before and I just slowed the beat down and I never had any problems, that's why I keep buggin you and replyin and stuff cause I wanna know the outcome you feel me.
I've never timestretched a vocal or took the beat outta the MPC to do it. I have on many occasion slowed down the tempo cause I my hands can only move so fast, then I up the tempo again to the proper spot and bam it's said and done.
Double the tempo, half the timing, same tune on the vocals, bang out the drums again. I've done that and it has helped but it's not an easy thing to do, trust me. I got many hard hiphop beats at 117-130 tempo that are actually when listened to mistaken for 87-93 bmp.
I also got a couple that that are like 65-71 that are like that GIMME SOME MORE style so it's whatever to me, I'm a non-conformist. I travel WAY outside the box with my beats, all my boys will tell you that.
