Whats up? I need some quick help re-setting up my zip drive!
As it is right now when I power up my 2000XL I would have to spin the data wheel until I find the correct SCSI port that my zip is connected to which I beleive is SCSI3.......Welll.......my jogwheel is broken so there for I can't navigate thru SCSI's....does anyone out there know how I can put my Zip and HD on SCSI0 (SCSI Zero) So when I power up the MPC, the zip is already there! you know what im saying? or any ideas of how to get around accessing the ZIP SCSI without the jogwheel?

please let me know ASAP (I got a live show on Saturday and need the MPC!)

I don't know what to tell you..... I'd be more worried about that jog wheel. Even if you get the SCSI to work, how would you load the files without using the jog wheel?

If you go to LOAD, then SETUP you can set the primary loading device to any SCSI ID you want. Trouble is, you need a jog wheel to change this value. DJ Cypher is right - surely getting the zip drive to load is the least of your worries - I'd be getting that jog wheel looked at first.

if you want it fixed by Saturday, you'll have to try to fix it yourself I guess
