why does my sample sound better in

trim mode(spread across all pads) when i initialy sample a sound and press play, it doesn't sound as good as it does in trim mode///pls help

trim mode has no effects, no parameters, nothing, pure sample.

After you load it and play it on the pads normally, you might have effects and other parameters affecting the sample.

If you want your sample to sound EXACTLY like trim mode, then turn off all effects, zero all parameters in your program and padd assign.

Does this happen when the sample in question is assigned to an output (output board) routed thru your desk (which may have eq on it or have the fader sitting low etc)?
