red with glow spots should be interesting on my 3k. i dont think vst would sell any bootlegged third party sh1t tho.

you might want to ask them if the glows and the black pads are the same quality cause usually the greys go for $32 and the real blacks go for $64. those ones might be the same but just in case you might want to ask first, no one wants broke pads after a couple months!

That is odd they have the SE pads cheaper. I am wondering if they or someone else is still producing these or if they are just getting rid of Akai's backstock from when they used to produce the SE units.

Keep in mind that although black is a cool color, they look super dirty all the time so might get on anyone's nerve that is a clean freak and needs their gear looking shiney all the time.
