45 speed

i have a sample that i got from a cd. how much do i pitch it up on the mpc in order to get it the same speed as how a 45 record would be.

Raise the pitch to five semitones.

When you are on the program page, press the pad you want to modify, then on the right hand side you will notice digits. Those digits control the pitch. Each MPC pad has 4 layers and each with it's own pitch settings.
